Class Visits to the Art Gallery

The Art Gallery at the University of Maryland is committed to educating students of all ages about the joys of creativity and contemporary art. The Art Gallery currently works with public, private, and home school teachers to complement various arts learning programs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Gallery tours, classroom visits, fun and educational presentations, and engaging hands-on projects that are tailored to your students and to your arts appreciation curricula are only some of the ways The Art Gallery strives to make contemporary art exciting and engaging at any age. Most educational activities at The Art Gallery are free or low-cost.
