Tuesday - Friday: 11 AM to 4 PM and Saturday: 1PM to 4PM

The Gallery is closed during the summer, in the fall on Saturdays when Maryland Football is at home, and between exhibitions. For exhibition and special event schedules, please visit our calendar page or call 301-405-2763.

Exhibitions and most events are free and open to the public. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Location

The Art Gallery is inside the Beltway, 9 miles from downtown Washington and 32 miles from downtown Baltimore. It is located next to Tawes Theatre on the western end of the University of Maryland, College Park campus, near the intersection of Route 193 (University Boulevard) and Adelphi Road. Accessibility

The Art-Sociology building, which houses The Art Gallery, is accessible to all visitors. Directly behind the building, visitors with HC licenses or permits may park in designated areas close to the west doors. The building is equipped with ramps, HC electric doors, and an elevator.
