The Art Gallery offers several ways for the community to learn about art and art-making.  We are committed to educating students of all ages through our educational programs.  

K-12 Lesson Plans and ResourcesThe Art Gallery provides National Art Education Association (NAEA) Standards-based lesson plans related to gallery exhibitions and the permanent collection.

Teacher Workshops - Teacher workshops that are meant to encourage educators to use our gallery, lesson plans, and tools as a classroom resource are often available.  Check back here for more details or join our educator email list to be informed of upcoming events.

The Herman Maril Teaching and Research Gallery - This small, hands-on gallery allows you to request specific artworks from the collection be displayed to give your students a firsthand look at what they are studying.  For more information or to request a visit please request a tour. 

Student Workshops – The Art Gallery offers free Saturday drawing workshops for local students.

Scheduled ToursTeachers, community members, faculty, and students may request a tour of any current exhibition.
